Doorpost Film Project
Published by: corey on Wednesday 9th September 2009 06:09am
Watch this short titled "The Butterfly Circus" and tell me it
doesn't change you a little bit. It actually brought me to
tears.
The creativity of some of these filmmakers is unbelievable. Check out some of the other film categories, especially joy & freedom.

Human Highway is where it's at!!!
Published by: corey on Thursday 12th March 2009 11:03am
Human Highway has been dominating my ipod & my office speakers
for the last few days. Their breezy/hippy sound makes me
really happy, and plus their instruments are pretty rad, too. The
Sound in particular is the most satisfying of all songs.

Love!
Published by: corey on Wednesday 11th March 2009 05:03am
George's blog inspired me to share with you one of my favorite
artists, beautiful Amber Rubarth. She's from Nevada, but I
had the opportunity to go check her out at this coffee shop/antique
store in Old Orcutt (like one of those tiny little old, ghost
towns) about 20 minutes away from my hometown. That was in
2004...and I've watched her growth, both professionally as an
artist and personally in the meaning and messages of her lyrics.
Make sure to also check out "Amazing".
Anyway, love love love!

I've reached the conclusion I blog my best while I'm in
class. I think it's because it's an hour and a half to think
about anything I want, and cruise the internet finding things i
love. my teacher thinks i'm an asshole.
Anyway, I found (quite possibly) the best time-wasting tool I've found in a long time.
idee multicolr search lab lets you pick up to ten of your fav colors, and takes photos from flickr that match the color scheme you've chosen. Guaranteed hours upon hours of endless entertainment.
P.S. I am so stoked I finally figured out how to do a screen shot on my Mac. What a great day.

Domino Art!
Published by: corey on Wednesday 28th January 2009 11:01am
oh.snap.
I usually don't care for dominoes all falling in a row. Like who hasn't seen that a thousand times? But in one of my classes, our teacher asked us to YouTube "creativity" and we were supposed to find something familiar....(although I didn't find whatever it was she wanted us to find.) Instead, I came across this masterpiece! Ok, I gotta admit, it gets boring after about 4 or so minutes, but you gotta respect the guy that put this together. I scanned the comments, he said it took him TWO WEEKS to construct! First of all, how do you have that much time AND room? Second of all, what if one domino accidentally falls and it all falls down? Was anyone allowed to walk around the house? I imagine that this guy had to tiptoe everytime he was around this beast.
And let's get this clear, I really wouldn't normally blog something dorky like this, but I saw it as domino ART!
So anyway.

Haha, I am so bad, but I'm in class right now blogging this.
Anyway, I ran across this video on iTunes and I think it's awesome. it's beautifully done and very creative. I wonder how long this took to make and edit this video.
