I wonder how much he's made in royalties from this song.  I bet you wish McDonald's would hijack your song.

What is rest?

By Afolabi
There are a lot of people talking about Michael Jackson.  In fact, i think everyone in the world is talking about him.  But up until yesterday, many of those people didn't have conciliatory things to say about the man.  But even for the ones who did, there comes a time when we all have to remember that he was still only a man.  Imperfect.  We only see the public persona, but is that the real man?  So please, let's all leave judgment to a higher authority than ourselves.  Which brings me to my question.  What is rest?  Everyone keeps saying "RIP MJ", and please get your grief out.  But think about what you're saying.  Two words "REST" and "PEACE".  What do they mean?  I'll let the man explain.

Michael Jackson RIP Greatest Hits Tribute Trilogy - King of Pop

By George
Thursday, June 26th 2009 was historic to the genre of pop as the world was stormed by the tragic news of the death of Michael Jackson. In the celebration of the life of Michael Jackson, I only feel right posting a tribute to the King of Pop. This is truly a sad day. It is an end of an era.

Phish - Punch you in the eye (Bonnaroo 2009)

By Afolabi
phish glow stick

I learned something new last week.  There is a glow stick war going on right now, it's of such massive proportions that should you be privy to a Phish show anytime soon i highly recommend going strapped with as much of an assortment of extra-luminous gear as you can muster.  The camera that shot this did an awesome job of getting the song and the band, but does not do justice to just how much glow was bombing down left and right in the crowd.  I'm not necessarily the biggest Phish fan in the world, not even close from personal observation, but with the sort of energy released at any one of their shows it's hard to not want to compete for their affection.  This is from the first set of the closing show at Bonnaroo this year.  Phish - Punch you in the eye
