I started messing around on the guitar just for fun...I never had any formal training regarding the thing, but I taught myself a couple chords out of a book and learned how to read tabulature. One thing led to another, and I started messing around with the strings and coming up with my own ideas...and pretty soon I was composing songs.

My influences include sorrow and happiness, music of all kinds, pretty girls, dry red wine, sincerity, optimism, love and heartache, dreams, other people and their specific way of grooving, and other things that come and go my merry little way.

I believe "sorrow" is only Joy with a wicked hangover. Let her sleep in, give her some seltzer water in the morning, and have the coffee on. She will be just fine.
